Babies:
There is nothing really new going on with babies. We have been told there will be a lot of that also. No news is good news. They really just sleep all day in their incubators with their bili lights and cpap on. We have been able to put our hands in the port holes of their incubators and touch them which is great. I am DYING to hold them though and they tell me that will come soon. The nurses keep telling us Jace (the smaller babe) is very fiesty. He has no problem letting them know he is mad! He must take after his dad. They have said Blair is definitely more laid back , but still a little fiesty. We went down tonight so we could watch as they did their work ups on them because they take their masks off and everything off their faces so we could see their faces. They're both adorable. Just perfect. I got to change both their diapers tonight as well, which was great because it makes me feel like I'm able to participate in some of the duties. I also held their syringes that fed them tonight so in a sense I was able to feed them. Not the way I wanted to but I will take what I can get. Tyson has been a trooper doing everything that is asked of him and everything he can do. He pretty much waits at my beck and call. He goes to visit the babies and sit with them quite a bit all day while I get tests and that sort of things.
We had a few visitors today and want people to know their visits, cards, flowers, and kind words are much appreciated! We can feel everyone's prayers, love, and support and are so thankful for you all. We are very blessed.
Love the pictures!! I'm so happy to see that they aren't intubated and on ventilators. Isn't it amazing how tiny those diapers are for such little bums? You should place an item in each incubator when taking pictures so you remember who is whoWhether it's a sports ball or a hat. Just an idea. Can you place your wedding rings on their arms? Just a few fun things to think about.
